Every studio puppy needs a pet project and this is it for producer Guillaume de Villiers from Abbott Audio. Some call it Acid Jazz, some call it World, some call it Lounge but he likes to call it Nu Jazz. As a fusion and jazz musician, Guillaume has always had a love for live performance. His passion for audio production developed a little later in life and guided him towards the concept of Nu Jazz.

So how does it work?

All instruments are recorded live but mixed down with edgy effects to create the cross roads between live and twenty first century electronics. You can expect to hear world fusion influences and jazzy rifts, blended with some spicy computer tones. The lyrical content is often theatrical and is sure to keep the listener entertained.
